Your Initial Visit
While every visit to our office is essential for your overall dental health, your initial visit is especially important. When you see us for the first visit, Dr. Peter Wiesel will perform a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of your dental needs while exploring your treatment goals.
A thorough exam is the first step in determining your individual treatment plan. We spend as much time listening as we do examining you. Because we strongly believe in doctor-patient communication in our practice, we take all the time you need to answer your questions and to help educate you regarding your treatment plan.
It is important that we allow time to ensure your complete understanding and comfort with your customized course of treatment. Therefore, please allow 90 minutes for your initial appointment.
As part of our service to you, we will be happy to complete and submit any dental insurance forms with the necessary information and radiographs needed to help you receive reimbursement from your insurance carrier. You can help us by completing all insurance questions on your patient registration form. For extensive courses of treatment, several payment options will be reviewed with you by our Financial Coordinator at your initial visit or consultation appointment. However, payment is requested at the time of each appointment.
Financial PolicyFor your convenience, we accept Visa and MasterCard. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore, payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at (609) 927-5300. Usually, a telephone call can clear any misunderstandings.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan, but this must be done prior to the actual procedure.
