Tips to Keep Your Smile Bright
First things first…..you have to know what could be causing your smile to not be as bright as it should be! Chances are, you are putting things in your mouth that are causing teeth staining. These drinks/foods are known to contribute to teeth staining: coffee, tea, lemonade, soda, sports drinks, food coloring (candy/drinks), and fruit like strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
Here's the thing. You don’t’ have to give up coffee, red wine or blueberries if you add one (and hopefully more) of these habits to your regular oral routine!
- Brush RIGHT AWAY
After you have had your bowl of cereal with berries in it…..brush your teeth! If you drink your cup of coffee early, brush your teeth! Take a toothbrush to work and after that final sip, go brush your teeth! Try using toothpaste with a small whitening agent in it.
- Rinse Your Mouth
No toothbrush close? Swish some water around in your mouth after you eat or drink.
- Use A Straw Dentist Teeth Whitening Linwood NJ 08221
Using a straw will pull the liquid inside your mouth---bypassing your teeth! Drinking with a straw will keep the liquid away from the teeth, instead, to the roof of your mouth. Plus, using a straw has its perks if you have sensitive teeth as well!
- Visit the Dentist
Keep up with cleanings. It will help to smooth the fine cracks in the tooth’s enamel where color can get easily stuck. When the teeth are kept polished it helps to reduce the amount of stains. Dentist Teeth Whitening Linwood NJ 08221
